Використання
віршів, приказок та прислів’я, а
також впровадження на уроці анкетування сприятиме легшому засвоєнню матеріалу теми,
зробить заняття цікавішим.
Мета уроку:
-
активізувати лексичний матеріал по темі;
-
розвивати навички усного мовлення з опорою на малюнки, предмети;
-
повторити введення модального дієслова “should” на письмі;
-
заохочувати учнів піклуватись про своє здоров’я;
- виховувати
бажання дотримуватися здорового способу життя.
Обладнання: підручник,
робочий зошит, анкета (НО), магнітола, касета із записом тексту, роздатковий
матеріал (картки із завданнями, малюнки).
Методи навчання: наочний,
словесний, репродуктивний, творчий.
Хід уроку.
І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.
1. Greeting and Aim.
T: Good morning, pupils! Let’s start
our lesson. Today we’ll speak about health and body care. We have a lot of work
to do. You’ll listen to a text, learn new words and poem, play a game, do the
questionnaire, and remember English proverbs and sayings.
2. Phonetic exercise.
T: Learn the proverb. Look at the
blackboard. The words you don’t know are written on it:
health – здоров’я,
wealth – багатство, достаток.
T: Please, repeat after me: “Good health is above
wealth”.
T: Please, look at the blackboard. The
poem is written on it. Read after me.
Spades for digging, pens for writing,
Ears for hearing, teeth for
biting,
Eyes for seeing, legs for
walking,
Tongues for tasting and for
talking.
T: Pupils, answer the questions, please.

T: Do you like to eat fruit and vegetables?

II. Основна частина
уроку.
1. Check on Homework:
T: Your home task was made up your own health
story and drew a picture for it. (Pupils tell about themselves, and show your
own pictures).
2. Repeating.
T: Now children, look at the cards and repeat the
words after me.
Keep fit, a doctor, to have a headache, a
dentist, first aid, to feel well…
3. Writing.
1).T: Модальне дієслово “should” у розповідному реченні вживається після підмета
перед основним дієсловом. Наприклад:
You should
brush your teeth 2 times a day.
T: Make up the sentences.
P1: You should
eat good food to stay healthy.
P2: You should
get a good sleep.
P3: You should
take care of your teeth.
P4: You should
do morning exercises.
P5: You should
wash often to stay healthy.
2).T:
Now work in pairs.
You’re given cards with names of food. Please, divide them in two groups and
write what is useful for us and what is not.
Example: chocolate, eggs, a
carrot, sweets, honey, bread, meat, soup, a cake, milk, butter…

4. Listening.
When you want to be healthy,
You should eat slowly food.
When you want to be happy,
You should do everything good.
When you want to be strong,
You should keep fit.
Don’t eat fat food

5. 1). Pre – Listening Activity.
T: Please, prepare for listening to the text. Look
at the pictures and try to guess what the text is about. Now read the questions
on the blackboard and try to give your answers. And now listen to the text to
be sure that you take good care of your teeth.
2).
While – Listening Activity. (Pupils listen to the text in the tape
recorder).
You should brush your teeth 2 – 3 times a
day for 5 minutes. Choose a good toothbrush. It shouldn’t be very hard. You
should change your toothbrush every 3 months. Sweets and sugar are very bad for
your teeth.
You should eat fruit. And remember, you
should go to a dentist twice a year.
3).
Post - Listening Activity. Answer the questions.
T: How often do you brush your teeth?
What colour is your toothbrush?
When did you buy it?
When are you going to get a new one?
What kind of food is good for your teeth?
6. Play game.
Divide in
two groups. All pupils have cards with answering. The first group is the
helpers of the Fairy.
The second
group is the helpers of the Witch.
The first group. (The helpers of the
Fairy).

your own. Act it with your classmate. A dialogue is about your healthy.
